Ipca Laboratories to expand its bulk drug unit Rampur in Dehradun. The project also involves expanding the capacity to 70 Lakhs tablets/day, 6.0 Lakhs capsules/day and 0.60 Lakhs dry injection/day. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 350 million.
Global Calcium to set up a bulk drug unit at Hosur in Tamil Nadu, Presently the unit is producing 249 TPA of Pharmaceutical Bulk Drug and Chemicals such as Mineral salts of Gluconate, Citrate Lactobionate, Lactate, Fumerate, Orotafe etc. which will be increased to 1641 TPA. In addition to these, it is proposed to add 1400 TPA of the same by conversion and 2615 TPA of Calcium Glubionate/Calcium Boro Gluconate/ Calcium Lacto Gluconate and other Mineral salts by spray drier process. About 1215 TPA of these products will be made by conversion. The cost of the expansion project is estimated at Rs.68 million.
Western Drugs to expand its bulk drug manufacturing unit at Mewar Industrial Area in Udaipur in Rajasthan. The proposed installed capacity will be Niacin (1500 MTPA) and Niacin amide (2760 MTPA) including existing capacity and spent Nitric Acid (11250 MTPA) & Ammonium / Sodium Sulphate liquor (4500MTPA) will be generated as by-products. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 30 million.
Ally Chem Laboratories to expand its bulk drug unit at Focal Point in Derabassi in Patiala district of Punjab with an investment of Rs. 450 million. The expansion details of the new unit are as follows.
