Pfizer licences Aurobindo Pharma for 50 generics

Pfizer Inc, world largest manufacturer of drugs has signed an agreement to license 50 generic medicines including pills, injectables to Indian pharma maker Aurobindo Pharma., This move is seen as shifting the company’s focus on off-patent drugs. This sourcing agreement will result in steady flow of revenue for Aurobindo Pharma. As per the deal, Pfizer can have employees at Aurobindo production plants to ensure quality concerns which has become a key one after complaints against Indian pharma producer Ranbaxy.
