Sanand to become first medical device cluster in India

Sanand in Gujarat where the Tata Nano plant is coming up will also get a medical device cluster park, the first of a kind in the country. It will spread over 100 acres and will have 25-30 company manufacturing facilities here. It will also have a research and development centre with an investment of Rs. 800 million and it will work with collaboration the national centre for medical devices (NIPER)
