Nectar life Sciences Ltd to expand its bulk drug unit at Basouli in Derabassi in Mohali district of Punjab with an investment of Rs. 6000 million. The project also involves setting up a captive power generation unit to produce 6 MW cogeneration unit. Land requirement of the project is around 140 acres. The company is planning to produce 12 active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) bulk drugs falling in 7 blocks with capacity ranging from 2 tonnes to 200 tonnes per month. The unit will consume methanol, Toluene, NH3, PG dane salt, pyridine, ammonia, pivalic acid etc., as raw materials.
