Vardhman Chemtech is planning to set up a bulk drug unit in Derabassi in Mohali district of Punjab. The project involves setting up of new manufacturing facilities to produce Ethyl Aceto Acetate (EAA) (144 tpa), Methyl Aceto Acetate (MAA) (144 tpa), 2-Ethyl Sodium Hexanoate (1275 tpa), Manganese Dioxide (80 tpa), Cloxacillin Sodium (800 tpa), Di-cloxacillin Sodium Monohydrate (110 tpa), Flucloxacillin Sodium Monohydrate (110 tpa), Oxacillin Sodium Monohydrate (110 tpa) Ampicillin Trihydrate (110 tpa) and Amoxycillin Trihydrate (600 tpa). The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 65 million.
