Ajanta Pharma Ltd to set up active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) unit at Waluj in Aurangabad in Maharashtra with an investment of Rs. 95 million. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce Lumefantrine ( 2mtpm), Propyphenazone (2 mtpm), Atenolol ( 2mtpm), Picotamide ( 1 mtpm), Acipimox ( 1 mtpm), Tenatoprazole ( 1mtpm) among other chemicals. The company will use the active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for captive consumption for making their own bulk drug formulations.
