Global Calcium to set up a bulk drug unit at Hosur in Tamil Nadu, Presently the unit is producing 249 TPA of Pharmaceutical Bulk Drug and Chemicals such as Mineral salts of Gluconate, Citrate Lactobionate, Lactate, Fumerate, Orotafe etc. which will be increased to 1641 TPA. In addition to these, it is proposed to add 1400 TPA of the same by conversion and 2615 TPA of Calcium Glubionate/Calcium Boro Gluconate/ Calcium Lacto Gluconate and other Mineral salts by spray drier process. About 1215 TPA of these products will be made by conversion. The cost of the expansion project is estimated at Rs.68 million.
