Viva Drugs Pvt Ltd is planning to expand its drug unit in Phirorur village in Fategarh Sahib district of Punjab. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce Atenolol, Atorvastatin calcium, Diclofenac sodium, Mefenamic acid, Losartan Potassium, Clopidogrel bisulfate, Fexofenadine HCl, Terbinafine hydrochloride, Fluconazole and Nitazoxanide

Alkyl Amines is setting up a methylamine facility in Dahej with an investment of Rs. 2500 million. The plant will have a capacity of 100 tpd and the company has acquired the land required for the project. Alkyl Amines which currently manufactures amines, amine derivatives, speciality chemicals is planning expansion by setting up the unit to cater to the needs of the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, rubber chemicals and paints and dye industry. The company has two manufacturing sites, one at Patalganga and another at Kurkumbh.

Frinze Laboratories Ltd to expand its pharma unit in Pishini in Ranasthalam Mandal in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs. 21.7 million. The project involves expanding its bulk drug unit to produce Quinazoline Amine (200 kg/month), Ketorolac Tromethamine, Diiodobenzofuran, Telmisartan, Montelukast sodium, Prasugrel HCl, Nebivolol and the plant will have a total capacity of 182 tpa.
